FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Londoners invited to provide feedback and help shape their neighbourhoods
Londoners are invited to share their feedback on the draft strategies and actions of the London Strengthening Neighbourhoods Strategy 2017-2020 (LSNS).
This resident driven strategy invites and encourages resident participation and engagement to help make all of London’s neighbourhoods stronger. Once finalized, LSNS will support neighbourhood driven activities and decision making for the next four years.
“London is a city of neighbourhoods. When one gets stronger, they all do," said Mayor Matt Brown. “This strategy is a grassroots community strategy and it's one of the keys to building a better city for all, together."
The draft strategies and actions within LSNS were developed with input provided by over 4,200 Londoners, representing each of London’s diverse neighbourhoods. Londoners now have a second opportunity to participate and provide their feedback.
Five open houses have been scheduled across the city this week.
Tuesday, March 28, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Boyle Community Centre
Wednesday, March 29, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Byron Recreation Centre
Wednesday, March 29, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Medway Community Centre
Thursday, March 30, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Earl Nichols Arena
Thursday, March 30, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Stronach Community Recreation Centre.
Alternatively, feedback can be provided online at getinvolved.london.ca/LSNS.
